The Lebanese branches of Jordan Ahli Bank PLC (JAB) have been operating in Lebanon since 1961. Ahli International Bank SAL (the Bank) was created in July 2001 when the Lebanese branches of JAB were merged with Bank of Lebanon and Kuwait SAL.

The Bank is registered at the Commercial Court in Beirut under number 14045 and appears under number 84 in the list of Lebanese banks.

Jordan Ahli Bank PLC currently owns about 98% of the Bank’s share capital.
The Bank’s main activities consist of providing retail banking services, lending to small and medium-sized businesses, granting short-term consumer loans, and offering trade finance services.
